John Podlaski grew up in Detroit Michigan and after graduating high school, joined the United States Army on February 27, 1970. Between 1970 and 1971, he spent 12 months in Vietnam. He served seven of those months with The Wolfhounds and five with The Screaming Eagles.
Travis Yates began his law enforcement career in 1993, and after serving in the law enforcement profession for 30 years, retired as a Major in 2023.

On December 27, 1993, just past 11:00 p.m., Officer Martin Ganz of the Manhattan Beach Police Department was shot multiple times by the driver of a vehicle he had just pulled over.

Today’s guest is Peff Eick. Peff served in the United States Army and was a helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War.
Dr. Chris Ullman joined the United States Army in 1967 and served for two years. He deployed to Vietnam and served there from 1968 to 1969. He he was assigned to the 1/50th Infantry Brigade; attached to the 173rd Airborne.
On April 8, 2008, Ray and his partner were involved in an officer-involved shooting. Ray was shot point blank in his face and his partner was shot in his shoulder as well as a contact shot to his chest, which was absorbed by his bullet proof vest.
In 1971, Chief Mike Albanese began his law enforcement career with the Los Angeles Police Department. During his 37 years with the LAPD, he worked a variety of assignments and has 27 years of experience working SWAT and CNT. He has been involved in countless crisis incidents both as an operator and in a command-control position.
