Tim sits down with Chief Mike Albanese, former chief of LAPD and current Captain of the Burbank Police Department. 

Chief Albanese has been serving in law enforcement for 51 years. 

In 1971, Chief Albanese began his career with the Los Angeles Police Department. During his 37 years with the LAPD, he worked a variety of assignments and has 27 years of experience working SWAT and CNT. He has been involved in countless crisis incidents both as an operator and in a command-control position.

Chief Albanese retired from the LAPD in 2008; however, in 2010 he gave up retirement and went back to work in law enforcement as a Captain with the Burbank Police Department and later became the Department’s Deputy Chief.  

In December 2021, he was selected to be the Chief of Police for the Burbank Police Department.
